The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coordinator to join our Youth Court Action Planning Program (YCAPP) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our program, working closely with youth and their families, and developing strong relationships with community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the YCAPP team in delivering program services, including case coordination, community outreach, and program evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with youth, families, and community partners to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff, placement students, and volunteers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality program services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing evaluation and feedback meetings with youth and staff to ensure their voices are represented in all facets of the program.
Requirements
  • Minimum diploma in Social Work, Child & Youth Work, or related field and a minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience working within the youth justice system.
  • Strong understanding of community organizations and supports available to young people.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize shifting responsibilities, strong time management skills, and leadership abilities.
