Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Youth Court Action Planning Program (YCAPP) Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the YCAPP staff, placement students, and volunteers in collaborating with young people to develop action plans that address their strengths and needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to ensure that programming and operations align with the program model, vision, and mission. They will also establish relationships with youth and their families, support staff in implementing the program model, and oversee daily activities.

Key Responsibilities- Support YCAPP staff, placement students, and volunteers in developing action plans for young people
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure program alignment with the program model, vision, and mission
- Establish relationships with youth and their families to support their ongoing engagement in the action plan
- Support staff in implementing the program model and provide feedback and coaching as needed
- Oversee daily activities of the program, including ensuring regular programming and supports are in place for youth
- Develop and strengthen community partnerships and referral sources for clients
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum diploma in Social Work, Child & Youth Work, or a related field, and at least 2 years of related experience. You will also need knowledge and experience working within the youth justice system, as well as strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
A demonstrated ability to prioritize shifting responsibilities, strong time management skills, and leadership abilities are essential. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively within and across teams, and have satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening.
