Key Responsibilities:- Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens with precision and attention to detail
- Enter requisitions and results accurately, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare teams
- Provide exceptional customer service, empathizing with patients and their families during critical moments
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment
- Contribute to quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and quality indicators
- Secondary School diploma and Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course with phlebotomy specialization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry and specimen handling
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
