Permanent Educational Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Educational Assistant to join our team at the Anglophone North School District. As a key member of our educational support team, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in the performance of their duties and providing support to exceptional students.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers in the classroom, library, shop, laboratory, and other learning environments
- Supervise students and provide support with their physical needs
- Prepare teaching aids and assemble materials as directed by the teacher
- Tutor students and assist with maintaining records
- Provide general support to teachers with functions designed to fulfill instructional, social, and/or behavioral goals and objectives
- Assist with transportation, feeding, hygiene, clothing, and toileting needs of students
- Care for catheterized students
Graduation from high school supplemented by completion of an approved training course related to the field of work, and experience or demonstrated ability in dealing with children, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Specific training, deemed essential by the Employer to meet the special needs of the student(s), may also be required.
