Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Dynacare in Windsor and Chatham, Ontario. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.
Key Responsibilities- Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens in a timely and accurate manner
- Enter requisitions and results into our system, ensuring data integrity and quality
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients, displaying empathy and kindness in stressful situations
- Work collaboratively with our team to meet departmental and corporate quality metrics and regulatory compliance
- Secondary School diploma and completion of a Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course with phlebotomy specialization
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage in a deadline-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
