This Civil Foreman/Foreperson role is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team and play a key part in the growth of our client's heavy civil construction business.

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions presents this exciting opportunity for a seasoned Civil Foreman/Foreperson to join our esteemed client, a renowned player in the water/sewer, grading, deep excavation, concrete prep, and storm water sectors. Our client offers a chance to take on leadership roles and contribute significantly to their expansion.

Salary Information

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $100-$130K based on experience, as well as additional benefits such as union rate + pick-up truck + 407 + pension & benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the layout, assembly, and installation of various materials in consultation with Project Superintendent or manager to plan sequencing and schedule for field installation.
  • Coordinate and supervise daily activities of a team up to 10 people.
  • Establish a safe work environment that complies with the Health & Safety program.
  • Interact with other company supervisors, inspectors, and clients.
  • Follow project plans and schedules and ensure that the crew's daily and weekly activities meet production goals.
  • Order equipment, materials, and workforce through dispatch for the following day's activities.
  • Obtain and prepare grade sheets from construction plans.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • 3 years of experience as a Lead Hand or Acting Foreman.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication in a diverse work environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions using sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
