About the Role

Civil Engineer - Linear Infrastructure Specialist

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects, including collection, distribution, and transmission systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Group leader/manager, senior engineer, and project managers to deliver linear infrastructure projects
  • Execute design engineering consulting services related to linear environmental infrastructure under the supervision of senior staff
  • Support the lead designer in the detailed design of linear projects and coordinating and interface with the wider team and other disciplines
  • Write, review and update tender documents, contract specifications and drawings
  • Develop project plans, anticipate, and address project issues and direct the timely completion of technical deliverables
  • Communicate and interact with the project team, clients, permitting agencies, and others as appropriate to achieve project success and build lasting partnerships

Requirements

  • Registered as a P.Eng or eligible for registration within 12 months
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 4+ years of related linear water and wastewater infrastructure experience in municipal design and construction working preferably in a consulting engineering environment on municipal client projects
