Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team in the Joint Department of Medical Imaging at the University Health Network. As an integral member of our team, you will perform various Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare and document patient records, including imaging results and reports.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a recognized medical imaging program and certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in MRI, with a strong understanding of MRI safety principles and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
