Job Summary

The University Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team. As an integral member of our Joint Department of Medical Imaging, you will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures using state-of-the-art digital technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform General Imaging and basic CT scan procedures using digital equipment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management personnel
  • Participate in professional development, teaching, and educational activities
  • Mentor and train junior staff members
  • Perform cross-functional/site responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Completion of a two- to three-year college or other approved program in diagnostic radiography or a bachelor of health sciences in radiography
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in General Radiography
  • Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills and image quality
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and recognition skills
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
