Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Sarpino's Pizzeria Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
- Cost products and services, ensuring that we are getting the best value for our customers
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our staff and customers
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that we are getting the best deals
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation, helping to promote our brand and attract new customers
- Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed
- Recruit and hire staff, building a talented and dedicated team
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Food Safety Certificate
- Electronic cash register experience
- MS Office skills
- Point of sale system experience
- Spreadsheet skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
