Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Showroom Sales Consultant to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and product expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting products and providing design advice to meet their needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with designers, builders, and architects to drive sales growth
  • Provide accurate quotes and delivery dates to customers
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit targets
  • Enter orders and quotes in the system, ensuring timely communication with customers
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues, addressing short payments and returns in a timely manner
  • Maintain product literature and display materials to drive showroom sales
  • Understand and follow all safety regulations at customer locations and the Profit Centre

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or sales; plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showroom sales preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of products on display and suggest appropriate solutions
  • Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
