About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at PHSA, providing outpatient mental health services to children, youth, and families. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapies, including individual, group, and family therapy, to address a range of mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote mental health and well-being in the community.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance the field of mental health.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia or eligibility for registration.
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families in a mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
