Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our Outpatient Psychiatry Program, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments and provide evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals and patients on mental health topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to promote professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic medical records and data management systems.
