Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at pt Health. As a key member of our mental health services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify diagnoses, level of distress, and functional impairment, and recommend treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based psychological treatments for complex psychological conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and concurrent disorders.
- Work autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary mental health teams to provide 1-1 psychological services and contribute to the development of new mental health programs.
- Provide supervision and consultation to other psychologists and psychotherapists, as well as consultation to other team members and management on clinical cases and practice dilemmas.
- Develop and evaluate mental health programs, and leverage novel approaches to the delivery of mental health services, including adjunct digital therapeutics.
- Consult with other mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Contribute to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions.
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university.
- Current registration in good standing with the provincial College/Board of Psychologists, with competency in adult populations and clinical psychology.
- Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment.
- Conducting psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning.
- Providing evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches.
- Developing and evaluating mental health programs.
- Working in interdisciplinary teams and with third-party payers.
- Utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods.
