Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Recreation and Life Enrichment team at Baycrest. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee recreation and life enrichment programs that cater to diverse needs and interests
  • Lead an interdisciplinary team of professionals to design and deliver programs that promote quality of life
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective program delivery
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build partnerships and identify opportunities for growth
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness
  • Manage daily operations, including staff assignments and clinical coverage
  • Review key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Social Sciences, Recreation, Leisure, Gerontology, or an Arts Discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading large, inter-professional teams
  • Previous experience in healthcare, particularly in complex healthcare facilities, is an asset
  • Strong leadership and partnership development skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
