Nursery Labourer

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Labourer to join our team at KS Nurseries Ltd. as a Nursery Labourer - Floriculture Production. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality plants and flowers.
Key Responsibilities- Tie and Secure Plants: Assist in securing plants to prevent damage and ensure they are properly tied to their stakes.
- Weeding and Pruning: Perform weeding and pruning tasks to maintain the health and appearance of our plants.
- Soil Preparation: Assist in mixing and preparing soils to ensure optimal growing conditions for our plants.
- Planting and Transplanting: Plant bulbs and seeds, and transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings to ensure the health and growth of our plants.
- Watering and Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean the work area and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently, and must be able to lift and move heavy objects. Attention to detail is essential in this role.
Requirements and Qualifications- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
