About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at CENTEX PETROLEUM. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, install software, and maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MAC, desktop applications, file management software, security software, information technology, MS Office, and MS Windows.
