About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled and charismatic Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional quality and service in our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience.
- Manage the host stand, review the reservation book, and make recommendations for table sections' setup.
- Ensure the cleanliness of each section of the restaurants and make necessary improvements.
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, and restaurant information.
- Access to affordable shared staff accommodation.
- Employee theme recognition days and events.
- Complimentary meal per shift in our employee dining room.

- One to two years of previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet.
- Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Administrative skills are beneficial.
- Working knowledge of OpenTable is beneficial.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
- Must have a current Serving it Right certificate.
- Ability to work in Canada.
