**Job Summary**

The Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse is a key member of the healthcare team at St. Boniface Hospital, providing high-quality patient care and leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide professional registered nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs, including independent nursing services and administration of prescribed medical treatments.
  • Take a leadership role within the healthcare team, coordinating patient care and discharge, and ensuring seamless transitions between departments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, promoting evidence-based practice and best outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements, applying knowledge and skills to improve patient outcomes and advance the profession.

**Requirements**

  • Current CRNM registration and active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM), are highly valued.
  • Post-graduate course in ICU nursing or equivalent experience is required.
  • Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is mandatory.
