Sagar Indian Cuisine Smiths Falls is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization

  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
Work Environment:

The Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing high-quality food to our customers. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and time management skills.
