Job Title: Indian Cuisine Chef

We are seeking a skilled Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team at Chef of India. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus, including estimating food requirements and requisitioning ingredients and supplies.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including special dietary requests.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
