Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description:

The Aircraft Structural Repair Technician will perform maintenance and repair tasks on aircraft structural components and ground support equipment.

This includes assessing damage, controlling corrosion, repairing, modifying, and replacing aircraft structures and components using recognized techniques and specialized tools and equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft structures and structural components, inspection techniques, damage assessment, aircraft materials, and hardware.
  • Knowledge of corrosion control techniques.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting technical documentation such as maintenance manuals, work packages, drawings, blueprints, and Standard Plant Procedures.
  • Ability to use standard computer programs and specialized ones as necessary.
  • Ability to drive vehicles and tow tractors.
  • Graduate of a recognized aircraft structural repair course or apprenticeship program and hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or be qualified as an aircraft structures technician within the Canadian Armed Forces or equivalent commercial experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in aircraft structural repair is required.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program.
