Aerospace Avionics Specialist

At IMP Group, we are seeking an experienced Aerospace Avionics Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to perform first and second-level aircraft maintenance on the Cormorant Helicopter in support of our Canadian Search and Rescue operations. This role will involve servicing, inspecting, removing, cleaning, repairing, installing, adjusting, testing, and certifying aircraft mechanical, structural, and electrical systems and components, as well as ground support equipment.
About You:
- You have a graduate degree from a recognized aircraft maintenance course or apprenticeship program, and hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license, or be qualified as an aircraft avionics technician within the Canadian Armed Forces or equivalent commercial experience.
- You possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in helicopter maintenance, with thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, including power plants, flight controls, dynamic systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, environmental, basic structures, and power generation and distribution systems.
- You have excellent reading and interpretation skills, able to comprehend technical documentation such as maintenance manuals, work packages, drawings, blueprints, and Standard Plant Procedures.
- You are capable of performing Non-destructive Inspection and using standard computer programs, as well as specialized ones necessary for the duties.
- You hold a valid NS Class 5 Drivers License and are eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program.
