Director, People and Culture

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic people programs that foster a positive work environment and promote employee productivity.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders to understand business needs and develop solutions that drive business results.
  • Lead a high-performing team and oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to development and retention.
  • Design and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that promote a culture of belonging and respect.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition, onboarding, and talent development strategies that drive business success.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to leaders on complex people-related issues and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead large-scale change initiatives and drive business outcomes through people-related solutions.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of HR experience with proven leadership experience in a multi-geography company.
  • University degree in human resources or related discipline and/or CHRP, CHRL, CHRE, SPHR, GPHR or other HR international qualification.
  • Experience building a team and leading change, with a proven track record of driving business results.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, coaching, and influencing, with the ability to mobilize others and build productive partnerships.
  • Sound knowledge of benefits, employment laws, and legal frameworks in Canada and the United States.
