Position:

The Human Resources Generalist will provide HR support to regional directors, operations teams, and internal and external employees.

This role will be responsible for the administration of TEKsystems' human resources policies, procedures, and programs in support of internal compliance.

The HR Generalist will also provide day-to-day human resource functions, including employee relations, employee development, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to managers, including assistance with performance management and employee relations matters.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures comply with Federal and Provincial legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Investigate and address employee complaints.
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee records within the human resources matter management system.
  • Provide consultation to employees on HR practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the legal, compliance, and HR team members to support HR compliance projects.
  • Support HR strategies and other initiatives or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • CHRP designation or working towards designation would be an asset.
  • 3 years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist, preferably with a focus on employee relations matters.
  • Knowledge of Ontario and Quebec Pay Equity requirements, Employment Equity (Federal Contractors Program) and Francization legislation preferred but not required.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
  • Travel as necessary to Canadian regional offices and corporate headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and experience utilizing a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
