About the JobWe are seeking an experienced Senior Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Knights Inn Motel. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the motel, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve business objectives
- Establish work schedules and procedures to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain hands-on knowledge and understanding
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure exceptional customer service
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality standards
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies to build a skilled and motivated team
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery
- Requisition materials and supplies to ensure efficient inventory management
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in hotel management, preferably with 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing circumstances
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests
