Job Title: Hotel Operations Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Knights Inn Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
- Establish work schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Assist clients/guests with special needs to provide exceptional customer service
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a skilled and motivated team
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery
- Requisition materials and supplies to ensure the hotel is well-stocked and equipped
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and overtime requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
