Hotel Operations Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Knights Inn Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs to provide exceptional customer service
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies to ensure a skilled and motivated team
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery
  • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure that our hotel has the necessary resources to operate effectively
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of organization
