The Department of Human Enterprise and Innovation at Thompson Rivers University invites applications for sessional teaching positions in the Human Resource Management program. We are seeking individuals to teach one or more sections this upcoming term in HRMN 2820.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time opportunity to teach courses on human resource management, with classes scheduled on our Kamloops campus. The ideal candidate will have an MBA degree or relevant master's degree, significant capability in human resource management, and evidence of teaching potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach one or more sections of HRMN 2820
  • Develop and deliver course materials according to a standard course outline and assessment scheme
Requirements:
  • MBA degree or relevant master's degree
  • Significant capability in human resource management as evidenced by directly related work experience
  • Evidence of teaching potential
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong teaching experience as reflected by student evaluations
  • Familiarity with the Moodle Learning Management System
Compensation:

Estimated salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Please note that the selected candidate will be required to bring a copy of their transcripts to the interview.
