Branch General Manager

Our client, a renowned national wholesale distribution organization, is seeking a highly dedicated and driven Branch General Manager to lead and manage their flagship operation. With a strong brand across the country, they pride themselves on producing and providing exceptional customer service, while always putting their clients and employees first.
As the Branch General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales, personnel, and operations plans for your area. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing employees to create a high-performing team, while developing and implementing appropriate strategies to improve productivity, identify new markets, and increase market share.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the sales team with key client relationships.
- Hiring, training, and developing employees in both sales and operations to create a high-performing team.
- Identifying new markets and increasing market share in the Commercial, Industrial, and OEM segments.
- Familiarity with P&L ownership, branch operations, and warehousing, in addition to managing a team of sales professionals.
- Ensuring all operations are managed safely and in accordance with the company's stated values.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or 2-year Diploma in Business, Marketing, or Operations, and previous experience leading a team and managing a large-scale operation within a distribution setting. Proven outside sales and business development experience would also be an asset for mentoring and coaching. Exceptional relationship-building and leadership skills are essential for this role.
