About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Canadian Pizza Unlimited & Shawarma. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to ensure consistency and quality across all menu items.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient ordering and minimize waste.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant setting, with a focus on fast-paced kitchen operations.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
