OMERS, one of Canada's largest defined benefit pension plans, seeks a dedicated Chief Diversity Strategist to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies that advance its commitment to building an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.

The successful candidate will partner across the business, leveraging their expertise in Inclusion & Diversity to drive meaningful impact and influence policies and processes that support an inclusive work environment. This includes consulting with senior leaders and HR partners to define strategic priorities and design programs that align to business needs and objectives.

A key responsibility will be leading transformative strategic initiatives aimed at closing experience gaps for key areas of focus, leveraging cross-functional teams and collaborating with leaders on the I&D Council. The Chief Diversity Strategist will also navigate complex challenges arising from evolving global legal mandates, employee activism, and other factors.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have 10+ years' experience in Human Resources with a focus on Inclusion & Diversity, Organizational Development or a related field. They will possess advanced planning and organizing skills, ability to prioritize across and deliver against multiple projects and programs, as well as a proven track record of successfully implementing I&D initiatives within a corporate environment.
