Zurich 56 Company Ltd is seeking a Chief Tax Strategist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage tax compliance and planning for Zurich 56 Company Ltd.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax benefits.
  • Provide expert guidance on tax implications of business transactions and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation.
  • Represent the company in tax audits and disputes.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with 10 or more years of post-graduation tax experience, including 5+ years specifically in the financial services industry.

OR High School Diploma or equivalent, with 12 or more years of experience in corporate tax within a corporation or public accounting firm, and completion or near completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.

AND Professional Accounting Designation or a graduate of the Master of Taxation program.

Completed, or nearly completed, the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.

Knowledge of insurance taxation is required.

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Proven leadership abilities, capable of leading and motivating a team.

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced income tax experience in a public accounting or multi-national corporate tax department.

Experience with Corptax and/or SAP.
