About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as Chief Security Strategist. As a key member of our strategic leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and executing our enterprise security vision and strategy. This includes aligning with overall business objectives and industry-leading frameworks.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Leverage your expertise in information security to lead the transformation of security operations, utilizing AI, ML, and advanced analytics from next-generation platforms.
  2. Drive the implementation of next-generation infrastructure and application security architectures, including zero trust, SASE, and cloud-native security models.
  3. Oversee the development of a world-class vulnerability management and cyber risk reduction program, utilizing advanced risk-based approaches.
  4. Lead the integration of threat intelligence and proactive defense strategies across the organization, leveraging cutting-edge threat intelligence platforms.
  5. Develop and present comprehensive enterprise security reports to senior leadership.
  6. Collaborate with other C-level executives to drive security as a business enabler.
  7. Represent Moneris at industry forums and regulatory discussions.
  8. Lead organizational response to critical security incidents and cyber crises.
  9. Develop and implement strategies to position Moneris as a leader in cybersecurity.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree.
  • 15 years of experience in information security; with 7-10 years in executive leadership roles.
  • Visionary understanding of cybersecurity trends and their impact on business.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide security transformations.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to drive organizational change.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills at the board and C-suite level.
  • Relevant executive-level certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) are preferred.
