Job Summary
This role involves handling customer inquiries and acting as the on-property liaison for group sales within defined parameters. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving group revenue goals by responding to incoming opportunities, closing deals, and providing exceptional customer service.
Core Responsibilities
- Handles customer inquiries and acts as the on-property liaison for group sales within defined peak room parameters.
- Achieves group revenue goals by responding to incoming group/catering opportunities and up-selling business opportunities.
- Closes the best opportunities based on market conditions and property needs, using negotiating skills and creative selling abilities.
- Develops relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and verifying their satisfaction before and during their program/event.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related area.
- Alternatively, a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years of experience in sales and marketing or related area.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position ranges between $76,000 and $103,000.
