We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team at the Lethbridge Home Assist Peritoneal Dialysis Program. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with setting up their home PD equipment and provide routine care to meet their hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety needs.
- Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Observe and report on patients' mood, health, and wellbeing.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.
- Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
- Must provide a confirmation letter as proof of enrolment from the Directory.
- Nursing students currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Health Care Aide with PD experience.
- Health Care Aide with current Hemodialysis experience.
