At Davidson Contract Services, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Sales Representative to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our heavy equipment to existing and potential clients. Your primary goal will be to identify and solicit potential clients, estimate or quote prices, and oversee the preparation of sales and orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties, and delivery dates
  • Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
  • Prepare sales or other contracts
  • Promote sales to existing clients
  • Identify and solicit potential clients
  • Deliver sales presentations
  • Use sales forecasting software
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Manage contracts

Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of sales experience
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
  • Computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system experience
  • Strong sales and marketing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
