Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GONG CHA. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Food Service Operations
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • or equivalent experience
Work Environment
