Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SRA Wasaga Beach Limited. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of 3-4 people, including food and beverage servers, kitchen and food service helpers, and provide guidance and support to ensure they are working effectively together.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
