Job Title: Food Service Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at GONG CHA. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment.
- 30 hours per week.
