About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kinderbrook Montessori School. As a key member of our kindergarten program, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our kindergarten students.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor early childhood educators and assistants to ensure a high standard of care and education.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and lead activities that promote learning, creativity, and socialization, including storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of student progress and development.
  • Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure the kindergarten area is safe, clean, and well-maintained, promoting a healthy and secure environment for our students.
  • Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements
  • Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kindergarten setting
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
