About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at Kinderbrook Montessori School. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced educators to create a nurturing and engaging environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Program Development: Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage Children in Activities: Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to encourage their creativity and curiosity.
  • Prepare Environments: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our students.
  • Document Progress: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors to support their development and progress.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work environment is physically demanding and requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The successful candidate will have excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Language and Work Conditions

The primary language of work is English. The work conditions are physically demanding and require attention to detail. The successful candidate will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
