About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will join our team at our Walpole Island branch, reporting to the Branch Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with a variety of financial activities, including making deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and cashing cheques. You will also be responsible for identifying customers' financial needs and providing them with the best solution through our products and services, while adhering to internal and regulatory policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our Indigenous and non-Indigenous customers
  • Assist customers with financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments
  • Identify customers' financial needs and provide them with suitable solutions
  • Adhere to internal and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the Branch Manager and other team members to achieve business objectives

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with financial institution software systems preferred
  • Cash handling, customer service, and/or sales experience preferred
  • Acceptable criminal and credit checks
