Overview

KPMG in Canada is seeking a skilled translator to join its Linguistic Services team in Montreal. As a translator, you will be responsible for translating various technical documents, including those in accounting, audit, and tax areas. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires 3 to 7 years of translation experience, mainly in accounting and finance, in a structured professional environment or within an accounting firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translation of technical documents, including accounting, audit, and tax materials.
  • Management of major projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaboration with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Translation or equivalent diploma.
  • Member of OTTIAQ (certification), an asset.
  • Good stress and pressure management skills.
  • Capacity for learning and adapting to new situations.
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, an asset.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong sense of quality and customer service.
  • Project management ability.
  • Good knowledge of technical tools.
  • Autonomy and flexibility.
  • Openness, frankness, and clarity in communications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Logiterm, an asset.
