About the Role
BDO is seeking a skilled Translator to join our Translation and Linguistic Services team in the Montreal office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating various Accounting and Assurance documents, Tax articles and reports, and service offers and documents for Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex financial documents and reports
- Conduct terminology research and provide linguistic advice
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality of translations
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Demonstrate BDO's core values: Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration
- Hold a degree in Translation and have a minimum of five years' experience in the financial or accounting sector
- Strong knowledge of computer-assisted translation software (SDL Trados Studio) and terminology databases
- Bilingual (French and English, both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of Accounting and Assurance terminology currently used by members of the profession and CPA Canada (an asset)
