Your Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Translator to join our Translation and Linguistic Services team in the Montreal office. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating various Accounting and Assurance documents, Tax articles and reports for Advisory Services, and service offers and documents for Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate various Accounting and Assurance documents
  • Translate various Tax articles and reports for Advisory Services
  • Translate service offers and documents for Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, etc.
  • Provide linguistic advice
  • Conduct terminology research
  • Understand and follow the firm's work methods and terminology to ensure consistent quality of translations
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

  • You hold a degree in Translation
  • Practical translation experience (minimum of five years' experience required), in the financial or accounting sector (an asset)
  • Project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of computer-assisted translation software (SDL Trados Studio) and terminology databases
  • Bilingual (French and English, both written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Assurance terminology currently used by members of the profession and CPA Canada (an asset)
  • Professional with a strong emphasis on teamwork and client service
  • Member of OTTIAQ (an asset)
