Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Trading Support Specialist to join our team at LevelUP HCS. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional production support and ensuring the smooth operation of our proprietary trading systems.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in application support, with a strong understanding of networking fundamentals and basic scripting skills. You will work closely with expert software developers and traders to address emerging technical challenges in a dynamic trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality production support to ensure uninterrupted performance of mission-critical applications.
  • Deploy and configure software to meet the evolving needs of our trading operations.
  • Proactively monitor systems to prevent potential issues and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with traders and research teams to analyze and optimize trading strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in application support.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., multicast, TCP, routing).
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Hands-on experience in Linux and/or Windows environments.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Client-focused mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Quick learner with enthusiasm for new technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize efficiently.
  • Willingness to work on a rotating schedule (including nights and early mornings).

Compensation Package

Our competitive salary is estimated at $120,000 per annum, reflecting the critical nature of this role and the company's commitment to attracting top talent.
