Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA engineer to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance FPGA applications from scratch.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new FPGA applications, including synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis
- Develop new APIs and optimize low-level code for software integration efforts
- Propose creative solutions to overcome FPGA/hardware limitations
- Collaborate with software/strategy teams and other design teams
- Conduct lab debugging and support deployed solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience
- Solid hardware engineering experience, especially with FPGA
- Strong understanding of RTL logic design (Verilog) and verification
- Experience with FPGA design flow, including synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis
- Knowledge of TCP/IP stack and on-chip networking applications
- Strong working knowledge of XILINX or ALTERA FPGA design flow
