Administrative Coordinator

Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Motion Fitness. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing administrative support to a team, with a focus on coordination and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
- Supervise and train other team members
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings and events
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries
- Compile data and statistics, and prepare reports
- Manage office supplies and maintain inventory
- Negotiate collective agreements and oversee payroll administration
- Assist with travel arrangements and itineraries
- Provide administrative support to the marketing department
- Maintain and manage digital databases
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- Supervise office and volunteer staff
- Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs
- Plan and direct daily operations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be required to travel occasionally and will need to have a valid driver's license.
Screening Questions: The successful candidate will be required to answer a series of screening questions, including their availability for the advertised start date, their willingness to relocate, and their previous experience in a similar role.
