About the Role

The Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) invites applications for the position of Division Head of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, The Ottawa Hospital (TOH).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for the Division of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology at TOH
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve clinical service and academic mandate goals
  • Work closely with the Medical Head of EORLA and the Department Head of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine within EORLA member hospitals
  • Participate in TOH Anatomical Pathology service and call
  • Contribute to the academic mission of TOH and University of Ottawa
Requirements
  • MD degree and licensure in the province of Ontario
  • Fellowship in Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and teams
  • Written and oral French language skills an asset
